Email Notifications
What kinds of emails Framvo sends and why they matter.
While in-app notifications are great while you are actively using Framvo, we use email to communicate critical information that requires your immediate attention when you are offline.
Types of Automated Emails#
We will send automated emails to your registered address for the following events:
- Account Suspensions (Bans): If your account is temporarily or permanently suspended, you will receive an email detailing the reason and explaining your right to appeal.
- Account Restoration: If an admin unbans your account (e.g., following a successful appeal), you will receive an email letting you know your access is restored.
- Appeal Reminders: For a temporarily banned account, scheduled email reminders are sent 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before your deadline. Campaign appeal reminders appear in-app instead. Delivery timing depends on scheduled jobs and your email provider.
- Campaign Removal and Appeal Decisions: Temporary/permanent campaign removals, restoration from temporary removal, and appeal decisions queue an email notice. Status and in-app notices are available even if email delivery is delayed.
- Account Security Updates: Emails regarding account verification upon sign up, password reset links, and confirmation of email address changes.
Not Receiving Emails?#
If you are expecting a critical email (like a password reset or appeal reminder) and do not see it:
- Check your Spam or Junk folder. Sometimes automated emails are improperly filtered by your provider.
- Verify your address. Ensure the email address connected to your account in your Security Settings is accurate and free of typos.
