Framvo for creators and communities
Background Photo Campaign Maker
Create a branded photo layout with your artwork behind each supporter’s photo. Publish a Framvo Background campaign for your event or community.
A Framvo Background campaign turns one branded canvas into a shareable photo layout. You upload the artwork and position a sample photo above it. Supporters open your campaign, add their own photo, adjust the placement, and save a personalized image.
This works well when a rectangular portrait should sit beside an event title, a community message, or a decorative panel. The supporter's source photo keeps its original background. This is a layered photo layout, not automatic background removal or a live video-call background.
Create a reusable branded layout#
- Prepare a PNG, JPG, JPEG, or WebP background under 5 MB. Leave a clear area for the supporter's photo and keep essential text outside that area.
- Sign in to Framvo and create a Background campaign.
- Add a preview photo, position it above the artwork, and check the result. Use a sample photo that represents the pictures your audience will choose.
- Add a recognizable title, explain how the campaign works, and publish it with a readable link.
- Test the campaign with a different photo before sending the link to your community.
The preview is especially important here: a photo that is too large may cover the headline, while a tiny photo may leave the subject difficult to recognize. See the background creation guide for the form steps.
Layout ideas that work with ordinary photos#
An event announcement: reserve one side for a portrait and use the other for the event name and a short “I'll be there” message. Put the full schedule on your event page.
A volunteer introduction: add a portrait area beside a community logo and a shared statement. Keep personal names in the accompanying caption unless you prepare separate artwork yourself.
A seasonal community photo: put decorations around a clear photo area. Test a landscape and portrait source photo so supporters can understand how to position their image.

Frame or Background?#
Use a Frame when the decoration should appear in front of the photo, with a transparent opening revealing the portrait underneath. Use a Background when your design should sit behind a smaller photo placed on top.
An opaque design uploaded as a Frame will cover the photo. A Background with its important wording under the photo will hide that wording. Choosing the correct layer order before designing saves time later. Compare both options in Frame vs. Background.
Web and mobile behavior#
Supporters can participate in a mobile or desktop browser without an account. The mobile app also offers photo composition, saving, and sharing. The web export uses the artwork's dimensions; the current mobile app preserves the artwork's ratio within an export up to 1080 pixels on its longest edge. Use the web and app guide before promising a specific delivery size.
Common questions#
Can supporters edit the text in my background?#
Framvo moves and scales the photo over the uploaded artwork. It does not expose individual text or logo layers. Prepare separate campaign artwork when you need a different role, message, or event identity.
Can I create a portrait or landscape design?#
Yes. Choose the aspect ratio for the destination where you expect people to share. A rectangle stays rectangular; it may be cropped if someone later selects it as a circular profile picture.
Will Framvo remove the photo background?#
No. Plan for the entire source photo to remain visible. A contained portrait panel usually makes the result more predictable than a design that depends on a cutout person.
Where do supporters find the finished image?#
On the web, use the download and share controls. In the mobile app, use Save image or Share. Local Library copies stay on the browser or app device where they were created. Read the saving and download help if a result is hard to find.
