How Auto-Moderation Works
To minimize the spread of potentially harmful or violative content, Framvo employs an automated moderation system that responds dynamically to user reports.
The Moderation Thresholds
Our system takes incremental steps based on the volume of reports a campaign receives:
- At 1 to 2 Reports: The campaign status enters
under-review. It remains publicly visible, but it will be flagged internally for our moderation team. An in-app notification is sent to the creator. - At 3 or More Reports: Once a campaign hits the threshold of 3 reports, its status automatically transitions to
under-review-hidden. The campaign is immediately hidden from public view, and the creator is notified via an in-app alert.
Moderation Statuses
Your campaign will move through various statuses depending on actions taken by the community and our admins.
Status
Meaning
active
The campaign is fully public and in good standing.
under-review
The campaign has received 1-2 reports. It is still visible but flagged for review.
under-review-hidden
The campaign has received 3+ reports. It is hidden from the public while awaiting an administrator’s review.
removed-temporary
An admin has reviewed the reports and temporarily removed the campaign. You may submit an appeal.
removed-permanent
An admin has permanently removed the campaign due to a severe or repeated violation. It cannot be appealed further.
What Happens During Review
Once a campaign is automatically flagged (under-review or under-review-hidden), an administrator will manually review the content.
If the campaign is found to violate our guidelines, an admin will remove it. If the reports are deemed inaccurate or malicious, the admin will dismiss the reports and restore the campaign to active status. In either case, the creator is usually informed of the decision.
