Using Framvo on the Web and Mobile App
Choose the browser or mobile app, understand what your account shares, and check saving, exports, and local Library differences.
Framvo has a website and a mobile app. Both let supporters personalize campaign photos, and both provide creator workflows for publishing Frame and Background campaigns. The buttons and storage behavior differ, so follow the instructions for the version you are using.
Choose how to open a campaign#
Website: open the campaign's https://www.framvo.com/campaign/... link in a desktop or mobile browser. You can participate without installing anything or creating an account. Creators sign in to publish.
Android app: check the Framvo Google Play listing for availability to your account and region. If installation is unavailable, use the website. A store link does not guarantee availability for every device.
iPhone or iPad: use Framvo in your browser. This guide does not provide a public iOS App Store download. Instructions for the mobile app apply when you have access to a supported installed build.
Find your way around#
On the website, use the main navigation for campaigns, creators, Create, Profile, Library, and Settings. On a smaller screen, open the navigation menu to find those destinations.
In the current mobile app, the bottom tabs are Explore, Creators, Create, and More. Open More for Library, notifications, your profile or sign-in, and Settings. Navigation can differ in older installed versions. An account is needed for your creator profile and publishing, while campaign participation does not require a creator account.
What is shared through your account?#
Use the same sign-in method and account to access your published campaigns and creator profile on the website and app. Public visibility and account settings apply to the account.
Local work is different:
| Item | Where it lives |
|---|---|
| Published campaigns and creator profile | Available through your account, subject to visibility and moderation |
| Saved campaign bookmarks | On the browser or app device where you saved them |
| Recent finished images | In the local Library where they were created |
| Unfinished campaign drafts | In the browser or app installation where you created them, associated with the creator account |
| Downloaded or saved image files | In the device location you saved them to |
Signing in on another device does not move local Library images or unfinished drafts there. Download important results and keep your original artwork separately. See Library and campaign drafts.
Adjust a photo#
On the web, drag the photo and use the photo toolbar for Fit, Zoom, Rotate, Fill for Frame campaigns, Undo, Redo, and Reset. On the mobile app, use the touch gestures and the adjustment controls shown on the screen. Toolbar arrangements and available controls can differ between versions.
Both campaign types keep their layer order: Frames appear above the photo, while Background artwork appears below it. Background campaigns do not remove the photo's original background.
Save and export#
- Web: the browser downloads a PNG using the campaign artwork's dimensions. Look in the browser's download list or the device's Downloads location.
- Mobile app: use Save image to save to the photo library, allowing permission if requested. The current app exports a PNG with the artwork's aspect ratio, up to 1080 pixels on the longest edge.
- Share: receiving apps may accept the image but ignore its caption. Copy the caption separately when needed.
Do not expect identical pixel dimensions from the app and browser for a large artwork file. Test the version your audience will use before promising a particular size. If saving fails, follow download and save troubleshooting.
