Creating a Background Campaign

A Background campaign places your custom design behind a supporter’s photo. This is ideal for step-and-repeats, virtual backgrounds, and themed collages.

To begin, ensure you are logged in, click the Create Campaign button, and select Background.

Step 1: Upload Your Background

The first step is providing the background canvas text.

• Click the upload area to select your image.
• Flexibility: Unlike frames, backgrounds can be PNG, JPG, JPEG, or WEBP formats (max 5MB).
• No Transparency Needed: Your background image does not need transparent areas since the supporter’s photo will literally sit on top of it.

Step 2: Add a Preview Photo

You need to provide a Placeholder Photo (max 10MB) so supporters know exactly what the final result will look like.

1. Upload a sample photo.
2. The interactive canvas will appear, showing your placeholder floating on top of the background.
3. Position the photo:
   • Click & Drag: Position the photo precisely where it should sit on the background.
   • Scroll / Pinch: Scale the photo up or down.
   • Right-Click Drag: Rotate the photo for dramatic angles or to match the perspective of your background.
4. Once positioned, click Continue. The location and zoom you choose here will be the default starting position for your supporters!

Step 3: Campaign Details

Complete the final metadata for your campaign:

• Title: A clear name (minimum 3 characters).
• Description: Explain the context of your background so users are encouraged to join in.
• Custom Link: Choose a custom URL slug (e.g., framvo.com/campaign/press-banner). Framvo instantly checks its availability. Leaving it blank auto-generates a link based on the title.

Hit Publish Campaign to finalize. Your background will go live immediately!
