Create Event Photo Frames for Attendees, Speakers, and Volunteers
Build event campaign artwork, choose frame or background layouts, and give participants an invitation they can use before the event.
An event photo campaign lets attendees, speakers, or volunteers announce that they are taking part using a shared visual identity. The organizer prepares the artwork once; each participant adds a personal photo and saves a finished image.
A useful campaign has one clear role and a readable message. An “I'll be there” design suits attendees, while “Speaker” or “Volunteer” may need separate artwork. Do not rely on a photo frame as proof of registration or accreditation.
Choose a profile frame or announcement card#
Use a Frame when the finished image should work as a profile picture: keep the portrait central, put decoration near the edges, and leave a transparent photo opening.
Use a Background for an announcement card with a contained portrait beside an event title or message. The photo sits above the background artwork and keeps its original background. Plan the layout around the whole source photo, not an automatically cut-out person.
For example, a fictional makers' conference might use a square attendee frame and a landscape speaker announcement background. Prepare each design separately. Framvo positions photos; it does not personalize names, talk titles, or role text inside uploaded artwork.
Put the right information in the right place#
| Put in the artwork | Put in the campaign description or invitation |
|---|---|
| Event name or recognizable short form | Full event details and official website |
| A short role or participation message | Registration instructions and accessibility information |
| Approved branding | Organizer identity and where to ask questions |
| A date if it remains readable | Full schedule, venue details, and updates |
A stable campaign link can be included in an event email or attendee information page. Choose it before printing a QR code or producing material that is difficult to replace.
Test a participant's full journey#
Publish a campaign with a sample photo you can use. Send the actual invitation to a colleague who did not create the design, then ask them to use a different photo.
Check that they can open the page while signed out, understand the role the design represents, position the portrait, and find the saved file. Test both a mobile browser and the installed app if both will appear in your instructions. The web and mobile guide explains the differences.
Also test the final destination. A landscape speaker card may look good in a post but lose its event title inside a circular profile crop. Keep separate layouts when those destinations need different proportions.
Give people an invitation they can copy#
For attendees:
Joining [event]? Create your attendee picture at [campaign link]. Choose your photo, adjust it, and save the result. Share it with your own message and find event details at [official event link].
For speakers or volunteers, explain who the artwork is intended for. Use your registration or event-management process to establish those roles; the photo campaign itself does not verify them.
Keep registration and engagement separate#
Frame saves can show activity around the event, but they are not ticket sales, attendance, or unique participants. Track registrations in your event system and describe Framvo totals as recorded support actions.
When the event finishes, keep the title and year clear and update any outdated instructions. If you delete the campaign, old links stop working for new participants, although previously saved images remain with their owners.
Use the Frame creation guide or Background creation guide to publish. The campaign checklist covers the remaining launch checks.
