Understanding Campaign Support Counts
Learn what Framvo support totals measure, why repeat actions can count, and how to report participation without treating downloads as unique people.
A Framvo support count describes recorded download or save actions for a campaign. It is a useful signal that people are using the artwork, but it is not a verified headcount of supporters.
What a support means#
The web flow records a download action. In the mobile app, saving the finished image to the photo library attempts to record that action. A count does not prove that the person later changed a social profile, shared the image, attended an event, or made a donation.
Repeat actions by one person can count again. On the web, retries of the same tracking request are deduplicated. Separate actions or devices can still produce additional records. Treat the total as activity, not an identity-based audience measurement.
A successful save can also occur when a network issue prevents its tracking request from reaching Framvo. The visible total and the number of files people actually saved need not match perfectly.
Where counts appear#
Campaign cards and pages can show public support totals when the creator's privacy settings permit them. Creator profiles can aggregate support totals across campaigns. Rankings and filters may use a selected period, so compare the same time range when reviewing results.
If a count is private, do not interpret the hidden value as zero. Read privacy settings for the visibility controls.
A useful way to report results#
Before launch, record the campaign link, date, and visible count. At your next checkpoint, record the same information and the distribution channels you used.
For example, if the visible total changes from 40 to 115, report “75 additional recorded support actions between our checkpoints.” Do not turn that into “75 new people” without a separate measurement that establishes who participated.
If you also need event registrations, newsletter signups, or donations, measure those in the system where they happen. A campaign frame can help an invitation travel, but its support count is not the conversion total for every action in your campaign.
Avoid comparing unlike metrics#
Different platforms may define “supporters,” “downloads,” “visits,” and “participants” differently. A platform that deduplicates by browser or network may show a different number from a system that counts separate actions.
Keep platform totals labeled and preserve the date and definition alongside each figure. When moving a campaign to Framvo, start a new reporting period rather than adding unrelated totals and calling the result unique supporters.
If the number seems unexpected#
Allow the page to refresh, confirm the campaign and selected period, and consider privacy settings and repeated actions. Do not repeatedly save an image to test whether the total increments; that creates activity of its own.
If a persistent issue remains, contact Framvo with the campaign link and the period you checked. For a broader launch plan, use the campaign checklist.
