Create Sports Team Profile Frames for Fans and Clubs
Plan a supporter photo frame with team colors, approved artwork, a readable badge, and clear instructions for fans on web and mobile.
A sports team profile frame gives fans a shared design while keeping their own photo at the center. The artwork might use team colors, a short supporter message, and a club-approved badge. The campaign link lets each person create a picture without editing the master design.
Start with a specific purpose: a season launch, a club celebration, or support before a match. A design that tries to include the full fixture list, sponsor panel, and team roster will become difficult to read at profile-picture size.
Use a clear design brief#
Here is a fictional example:
Riverside supporters' frame for the opening weekend. Use green and cream, a small approved club badge, and the words “Backing Riverside.” Leave room for different faces and hairstyles.
Keep the badge and wording away from the extreme corners, which may disappear when a social app crops the result into a circle. Make sure the message remains legible without relying only on team colors.
Use only artwork and marks you have permission to publish. If the campaign is fan-run, describe the organizer accurately and avoid making the page look like an official club announcement without authorization.
Test with the photos fans will actually use#
Try more than a professional player portrait. Test an ordinary phone selfie, a wide portrait, and a picture where the person is wearing a hat. Those tests reveal whether the photo opening is too tight or the lettering covers the face.
Leave a generous transparent area in the PNG frame. Framvo requires at least 5% transparency for Frame uploads, but that minimum is not a recommendation for the size of the photo opening. Artwork must be a PNG under 5 MB.
A square canvas is practical for profile use. Check a circular crop before sharing, and move detailed match information into the campaign description or the club's event page. The profile frame tutorial covers the export process.
Publish a campaign for the occasion#
Sign in, create a Frame campaign, and add a sample photo you have permission to use. Write a title fans can recognize from the invitation, such as “Riverside Opening Weekend Supporter Frame.”
Use the published campaign URL consistently across the club newsletter, website, and group announcements. A link to the reusable campaign is more useful than circulating one finished photo containing somebody else's face.
Supporters can use the website on a phone without creating an account or installing an app. If you also give app instructions, explain that app saving uses the photo library and browser downloading may use Downloads or Files. See the web and mobile guide.
Write a short supporter invitation#
Adapt this example:
Backing [team] this weekend? Open [campaign link], choose your photo, adjust it inside the supporter frame, and save it. You can then use it on your profile. Match details: [official event link].
If fans need different messages, publish separate designs with clear titles. Uploaded artwork is fixed; Framvo does not replace each fan's name, squad number, or role inside the design.
Decide whether the artwork should expire#
A season-long message may remain useful for months. A match date or result becomes outdated quickly. Choose wording that fits the campaign's intended lifetime and update related instructions after the event.
Record support actions as activity rather than verified fan numbers or match attendance. If you also need registrations for a supporter event, measure those separately.
