Moving a Photo Frame Campaign to Framvo
Reuse your original artwork on Framvo, test the supporter journey, and replace campaign links without assuming counts or accounts will transfer.
You can recreate a photo campaign on Framvo using artwork you own or have permission to reuse. This is a new publication with a new campaign link. Framvo does not automatically transfer another platform's campaigns, accounts, supporter counts, galleries, or URLs.
1. Collect the original files#
Find the artwork master rather than a finished image containing someone's portrait. For a Frame, you need a PNG with a transparent photo opening. A downloaded supporter picture cannot serve as the reusable frame because its portrait is already part of the image.
Check that you can reuse the logos, illustrations, fonts, and preview photo. Artwork licensed only for a particular service may require different permission before you upload it elsewhere.
Keep an independent copy of any old reporting you need. Record which platform and date each count came from; measurements from different products may have different definitions.
2. Choose Frame or Background#
- Choose Frame for artwork above the photo. Upload a PNG under 5 MB with at least 5% transparency.
- Choose Background for artwork behind the whole photo. PNG, JPG, JPEG, and WebP artwork are accepted up to 5 MB. The source photo retains its original background.
See Frame vs. Background before rebuilding a layout. A background-removal workflow from another product may need a different design on Framvo.
3. Publish a new campaign#
Sign in on the website or app and complete creator setup if prompted. Choose the campaign type, add your artwork and preview photo, and test its position. Enter a title and description that identify the organizer and the campaign's purpose.
Choose a recognizable link where available. The address belongs to the new Framvo campaign; an existing short link or campaign address on another platform will not automatically redirect to it.
The Frame creation and Background creation guides cover publication. Unfinished drafts stay in the browser or app installation where you created them.
4. Test before replacing links#
Open the exact new campaign link while signed out and use a different photo from the preview. Try the mobile browser flow and the installed app if your audience will use it.
Confirm that the design loads, faces remain visible, the composition can be saved, and the finished image is easy to find. Web and app export dimensions can differ; check the web and mobile guide.
5. Update the places your community visits#
Replace the link in your organization or event page, pinned group message, email template, social bio, and any QR code you control. Explain that it is a new campaign page so supporters recognize the change.
If your previous provider allows it, leave an explanatory note or keep the old campaign accessible during the transition. Deleting it immediately can strand people who already received its link. Previously downloaded images remain on supporters' devices regardless of where your new campaign is published.
Compare platforms before moving#
