How to Apply a Frame or Background to Your Photo

Supporting a campaign on Framvo is incredibly simple. You can use a transparent Frame or a Background without creating an account. A background places your photo above the artwork and keeps your photo's original background.

Follow these steps to generate your personalized photo:

Step 1: Visit the Campaign Page#

When you click on a Framvo campaign link (e.g., framvo.com/campaign/example), you'll land on the campaign's main landing page. Here you can see:

• The Campaign Preview showing what the final design looks like.
• The Creator who published it.
• The Support Count, showing recorded download actions when the creator enables public counts.

Step 2: Upload Your Photo#

Ready to join in?

1. Click the Choose Your Photo button.
2. Select an image from your computer or camera roll.
3. Note: Your photo must be a PNG, JPG, or WEBP file and under 10MB in size.

Step 3: Adjust the Fit#

Once your photo is uploaded, you'll be taken to the Adjustment Editor. Framvo provides an interactive canvas so you can position your face perfectly inside the design.

Touch & Mouse Controls:

• Move: Click (or touch) and drag to move your photo around.
• Zoom: Use your mouse scroll wheel, or pinch-to-zoom on a mobile screen.
• Rotate: Hold Shift while dragging your mouse, use a right-click drag, or use a two-finger twist on a touch device.

Dashboard Controls: In the web photo toolbar, open Zoom or Rotate to use their sliders. Fit offers fit-to-canvas and fill-to-canvas options, and Undo, Redo, and Reset help you revise changes.

Step 4: Download#

Once everything looks perfect, click Download Image.

On the website, your browser downloads a PNG using the campaign artwork's dimensions. Square artwork produces a square result; rectangular artwork produces a rectangular result. A recorded download is a support action, not verification of a unique supporter or a social-media profile change.

Using the Mobile App#

Open a campaign, choose your photo, and adjust it with the app's touch controls. Continue to the result and use Save image or Share. Saving to your photo library may request permission. The app preserves the artwork's aspect ratio in a PNG up to 1080 pixels on the longest edge.
