Campaign Reports
What campaign reports record, the periods you can view, how to export them, and how report figures differ from support counts.
Campaign reports show recorded activity on your campaign over a recent period. They are available to the campaign owner and are free.
Open a report#
Open your campaign's three-dot menu and choose Manage campaign.
- Website: open the Results tab and choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days.
- App: expand Campaign report and choose a Reporting period of the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
A period starts at midnight UTC on its first day and includes today. Daily rows are also grouped by UTC date, so a day may not match your local calendar exactly.
What is recorded#
| Measure | Recorded when someone… |
|---|---|
| Visits | opens the campaign page while it is accepting participants |
| Photo selections | chooses a photo to use with the campaign |
| Download actions | downloads the result on the website, or saves it in the app |
| Share actions | uses a share option for the campaign or their result |
| Action link clicks | selects the campaign's action button |
Downloads are also grouped by design, so you can compare the original with alternate designs. Visits are grouped by source when people arrive through a named link.
Activity is recorded only while the campaign is public and accepting participants. Scheduled, ended and archived campaigns do not record new events.
What the figures mean#
Each figure counts recorded actions, including repeats. One person can create several visits or downloads. A share action means a share option was used; it does not confirm that anything was posted. An action link click does not confirm a registration, purchase or donation.
Recording is optional and never blocks choosing, saving or sharing an image. Blocked or failed requests are not retried later, so a figure can be lower than the actual activity. Each event has a random request ID, and the same request ID is recorded only once.
Reports and support counts#
The website shows lifetime recorded download actions above the daily table. This is the same total used for your campaign's support count. It is a separate measurement from the report's Download actions:
- The support count covers the campaign's whole life. Report figures cover only the selected period.
- Report events started when campaign reports were introduced. Earlier activity appears only in the lifetime total and cannot be added to reports.
- The two are recorded separately, so the figures can differ even for the same period.
Label each figure with its name and period when you share results.
Export a report#
- Website: choose CSV to download a spreadsheet, or Print / PDF to print the report or save it as a PDF from your browser's print dialog. The CSV includes daily visits, photo selections, downloads, shares and action link clicks, plus the design and source tables.
- App: choose Export CSV report and pick where to send the file. If your device cannot share files, the app shares a short text summary instead.
Retention#
Report events are deleted after 90 days by routine daily cleanup. The 90-day view therefore shows the longest available history. Export a CSV regularly if you need a longer record.
Privacy#
Reports do not identify people. Each event stores the campaign, event type, design, source and time, with a random request ID used to ignore duplicate retries. Events do not include an account, name, email or photo. Reports cannot show who visited or count unique people.
Text that participants type into a personalized text field stays on their device and is never included in reports.
